Kills the contents of the marked block, for information about killing
see section Killing.

Similar to Ctrl-w except that the text is not actually deleted,
just stored for later recall.
- Ctrl-W

Deletes the text in the currently marked block.
- Ctrl-x Ctrl-l

Makes all alpha characters in the current block lower case.
- Ctrl-x Ctrl-u

Makes all characters in the block upper case.
